Lincoln City Football Club’s League Two clash with Aldershot has been postponed due to ‘safety concerns’.

It is the fifth consecutive time that the Imps have had a game called of due to the snow, meaning they have not played since November 27th.

Other games in League Two have also been called off so City will not lose too much ground on their relegation rivals.

Steve Tilson will now turn his team’s attention towards Tuedsday evening, when they face Hereford United in an F.A Cup Second Round Replay – A match that has already been postponed twice.

The Christmas calendar is already the busiest period of the year for any English team, without having to reschedule any further matches.

The ground staff at Sincil Bank will have to battle the forecast cold conditions over the weekend to ensure that the Imps can finally fulfil their cup tie.

City fans should keep an eye on LSJ News for updates about the weather conditions.
