Lincoln City Football Club are to go on an open top bus tour of Lincoln following their win over Macclesfield Town on Saturday 22nd April.

The Imps won 2-1, making them National League Champions and securing a return to the English Football League after six seasons.

The City of Lincoln Council have announced that the open top bus tour, will take place on 2nd May, and will celebrate the success of the team this season.

Since managers Danny and Nicky Cowley took over the team at the start of 2016 the Imps have also reached the quarter final of the FA Cup before being knocked out by Arsenal, and the semi-final of the FA Trophy where they were beaten by York City.

Tuesday 25th April will see Lincoln City face Maidstone United in their first match since winning the league.
