Proceeds from the event will go towards organiser, Brogan Lawes, a recent graduate from the University of Lincoln.

Brogan is embarking on a trek up to Machu Picchu, to raise money for Mind.

Brogan said she hopes to raise: “around 25% of my final fundraising total (£3,140) for the trek I am taking on in August”.

Acoustic Live has partnered with various restaurants and bars such as Nandos, Walkabout and Café Nero, to provide raffle prizes.

Music act, Thomas Lock said: “It’s a great opportunity to raise funds for a great charity. A close friend of mine suffers with depression and it’s truly horrible. Any charity making an effort to try and help people with mental health problems is important.”

Ben Simmons, another music act performing said: “Mental health is such an important topic, and it’s essential that we give support in any way we can to help such a wonderful cause.”
