Aprils Mini Heatwave causes spike in highstreet sales

We’ve just been treated to whats been called a ‘mini heatwave’ with temperatures soaring to 28ºC in some parts of the country. Temperatures are actually a whopping 16.6ºC higher than the average maximum temperature for this time of year.

The hot weather seems to have offered some relief to hard-pressed highstreet retailers with customers flocking to the shops for sandles and the like.
