Boston woods will see improvements for summer

The Boston Woods Trust have received a grant of £10,000 from the National Lottery Trust.

The charity trustees plan to use the money to lay new pathways through the young woodlands.

Volunteers hope that the new accessibility will allow more Bostonians to visit the greenspace.

Other improvements are also planned for the future including adding bird houses and expanding the woodland areas.

Another recently launched project called green burials, where people can be buried after they have passed and the woodland will grow around them.

This then allows relatives to visit a pleasant green space instead of a grave yard to pay their respects.
