Lincolnshire war veterans are being asked to apply to the Big Lottery fund.
The Heroes Return Scheme are already sending over 700 veterans to historic battlefields such as the D-day landing beaches.
The National Lottery is encouraging veterans who have not visited memorials to start applying now for the grant which is now running until January 2011.
