This Christmas period shoppers are taking to the new fad of Swishing to get new clothes for the holidays.

Swishing is described by the official Swishing website as:

‘To rustle clothes from friends’

Revival Lincolnshire and Lincoln City Council have teamed up to put on a Swishing event where people can go and swap clothes for free.

Angela Porter Project leader at Revival Lincolnshire let us in on what the event was about: “Swishing is a name given to a clothes swap which has been growing in popularity over the last few years in this country which has stemmed from abroad.

“An event like the one we’ve planned proved very popular in Newark, and it’s just a great idea I think!

“The clothes you bring need to be in good condition and then you just swap them with what you fancy.”

So if you are in need of something new to wear for the busy Christmas period then head down to revival Lincolnshire this evening at 19:00 and pick up some hip new threads.
