Former Metropolitan police officer is raising money for Support Dogs

A former Metropolitan police officer who now lives in Lincoln is doing the Great North Run to raise money for support dogs, a local charity that trains disability assistance dogs.

Amanda Davidson was injured on duty 20 years ago.

She has already raised seven thousand pounds for the small charity and is hoping to increase the amount of donations to forty thousand
