Lincoln is set to be dazzled in colour as the Frequency Festival launches!

Through a series of free events throughout the city, the festival is due to run until the 26th October. There are many venues including the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, Lincoln Drill Hall and the Castle.

Originally launched in 2011, the event combines national and international artists who use installations, projections and live performances to show digital innovation and culture. Highlights include Zest Theatre, Me and the Machine and talks from local artists, including Alexis Rago.

With the theme of ‘Revolution’, the festival is estimated to draw in more than 30,000 visitors who can expect to see the best of what the city has to offer. Bringing many local organisations together, including the University of Lincoln, Visit Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire One Venues (LOV), the city is set to see new media being injected into Lincoln’s historical landscape.
