Results found that nearly 1000 students were put on school waiting lists in Lincolnshire last year.

Information obtained through a Freedom of Information request found that there were 688 children waiting for a primary school and 314 children waiting for a secondary school in 2015.
This is a three year high for school waiting lists in Lincolnshire, the figures have risen by over 80 for both primary and secondary schools since 2013.
Steve Gamble, school admissions manager at Lincolnshire County Council said: “There is quite a wide range of numbers on the reserve list. First things first,  all children on a reserve list will have an offer of a place although it may not be their parents first choice of school. “
