Hosepipe ban to begin on April 5

Hosepipes will soon be banned for domestic use

Anglian Water are imposing a hosepipe ban in Lincolnshire.

The ban, which will come into force on April 5, will only apply to domestic customers. This will mean customers will soon be unable to use their hosepipes for things like gardening, washing cars and filling paddling pools.

There has been an exceptionally low rain fall over the last 18 months and consequently the ban will come into force. This is the first time there has been a hosepipe ban in this region since 1991.

Anglian Water also advising people to save water in other ways. For example taking a shower instead of a bath. To find out more visit: http://www.anglianwater.co.uk/E90894F6CB2546F88BFF82408F9B81CE.aspx
