Lincoln University got a mention on E4’s hit comedy show ‘The Inbetweeners’ last night. Students on campus today saw the funny of  the commentts made.

The exact words were ‘Goodbye first rate education, hello University of Lincoln’.

These words were soke by actor Grey Davis who plays the patronising and sarcastic Head of Sixth Form, Mr Gilbert.

For some students watching the popular sitcom this obviously came as a low blow and a bit of an embarrassment. Luckily though, most people took the joke lightly and said it’s Lincoln’s ‘claim to fame’!

Reporter Tash Keech hit the Brayford campus to find out what students thought about their brush with fame.
