Struggling retailer HMV has announced that their store on Lincoln’s High Street will be saved from closure. As yet, it is unclear just how many jobs are being saved.

However, stores will be closing in Boston and Scunthorpe, with an estimated 20 jobs being axed. The Boston store, in Silver Street, and the Scunthorpe store were not so lucky. HMV’s administrators Deloitte have announced that a total of 66 stores will be closing.

The nationwide music chain announced that they were entering administration last month, but a number of other retailers have shown an interest in buying part or all of HMV to Deloitte.
