Lincoln City are ready to face Aldershot town tomorrow. They are currently ninth in the table going into the game and look to climb even further.

The Imps are currently unbeaten in their last 3 games, however they have only manage to take five points from a possible nine after drawing their last two games.

They drew 2-2 with Nuneaton on Saturday who managed to end their three game losing streak after a late header from Andy Brown equalised for Nuneaton.

They also only managed a point from their game against Tamworth at Sincil Bank on Tuesday.

Despite the clean sheet, Defender Nat Brown says it is so much better when the team is scoring and winning. He said “We were pleased with the performance but we would much rather be winning. We’ve dropped four points recently which isn’t great and we want to be up there so we’ve got to start winning.”

Aldershot are currently second from bottom in the league but would be just behind the imps had they not started the season on minus ten points.

In recent games defender Luke Foster has been pushed into midfield due to his experience and how much it will help the younger members of the squad. “I don’t mind being in midfield, it’s not my natural position but the boss wants some of the more experienced players around just to steady the ship for some of the younger players” He said during the pre match press conference.

Lincoln are without Ben Tomlinson due to suspension and Tom Miller after he picked up a groin injury.

Manager Gary Simpson knows Aldershot will be a tough game and says they have quality. He said in the press conference “They are a young, vibrant, enthusiastic team, they can score goals, but then they can concede goals.”

They kick off at 3’oclock tomorrow at The Sincil Bank stadium.
