The Lincoln based swimming club The Vulcans will be competing at the national short course championship next month.

The Vulcans will be competing in the national short course championship between the 6th – 8th December after they defeated Sheffield swimming club at Ponds Forge last week.

The Lincoln swimming club has had a number of swimming champions such as Elizabeth Simmonds who represented Britain in the 2008 olympics, and Kate Haywood who won bronze in the 2002 commonwealth games. The club is currently preparing Jack Bonnell for the 2016 olympic games in Rio.
