Lincolnshire’s hospitals in need of volunteers

Three of Lincolnshire’s busiest hospitals are asking for volunteers who can help on their wards.

The hospitals in Lincoln, Boston and Grantham are looking for people who would be willing to work a weekly four hour shift for free.

United Lincolnshire Hospital NHS Trust are working with Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service to recruit volunteers.

Volunteers are needed at Lincoln County Hospital, Grantham and District Hospital and Pilgrim Hospital Boston.

The four hour shifts are designed to help with duties including helping at patient mealtimes, getting involved in activities to keep patients entertained and meeting and greeting patients and visitors.

They are looking for two volunteers who are available to work for free, once a week, in each of the wards at the three separate hospitals.

Those who wish to volunteer at one of the hospitals, should visit this webpage to find out more information and to apply.
