LSJ TV: A drive back in time

You might think that the modern driving test is hard or unfair. You might think it’s unduly difficult, or that it doesn’t teach you enough about driving in real conditions. But can you imagine taking the test in 1935?

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the driving test, and the argument that classic cars made for better drivers remains strong. Darren Moss took a ride back in time to look at how the driving test has changed over the years.
