A local vicar has nominated Lincoln to become a City of Sanctuary.
The Reverend Liz Jackson hopes to use the status to help migrant minority groups new to the country.
The title will help with funding to increase migrant life and the aim is to hopefully dissolve cultural tensions within the city.
