A man has suffered leg injuries after his motorbike was involved in a crash on Tritton Road.
The incident was reported at 8.15am and is thought to have involved a Renault Clio car and a Suzuki motorbike.
The rider of the motorbike has been taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment for suspected leg injuries. It is not thought the driver of the Clio was injured.
Officers are grateful to motorists who avoided the area during the road closure to allow for emergency services on the scene and for recovery work to be carried out.
The road was closed from Dixon Street down to Sainsbury’s on Moorland Avenue but has now been reopened.
