A motorcyclist in Lincoln is putting his skills to use by touring Europe to raise money for charity.

Martyn Griffiths has been riding for six years now and this July, he’ll be taking to his Honda Transalp on a 3,000 mile trip to help the Esther Benjamins Trust.

Mr Griffiths interest in the charity came after a chance meeting at a restaurant with the founder, Philip Holmes. The aim of the Trust is to help children in Nepal who have been victims of trafficking or who have been displaced into India.

Martyn hopes to raise a minimum of £5000 with his trip, which will see him travel through France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium, avoiding main roads and tolls where possible.

People wanting to sponsor Martyn can do so by emailing him on mcg9320@yahoo.co.uk.
