Over 70% of Lincolnshire adults have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

The UK has the biggest record for vaccinations in their history.

being vaccinated at 6:31am on the 8th December 2020.

Since this there has been over 37 million adults who have had the first dose of the vaccine and over 22 million adults who have had the second vaccine and are therefore fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Rebecca Neno, Deputy Chief Nurse at Lincolnshire CCG said: “The vaccination process is going really well in Lincolnshire we have made really good progress.

“It is a choice to have the vaccine but I urge you to get it if you do want it.”

However, there has been some opposition to the vaccine with questions on the safety of the vaccine.

Annette Ansell was anti vaccine then changed her mind and was vaccinated in February, she said: “I’ve always had a bad reaction to vaccines so when it came out, I decided not to have it.

“Then I thought well if no one gets the vaccine then we won’t get out of this situation.”

In Lincoln there have been over 38,000 people vaccinated against Covid-19 and in Lincolnshire over 70% of the adult population has been vaccinated.
