Since the rise in fuel duty, the price of petrol has reached new heights, that have affected everyone.

The government is set to add a penny to fuel due as of April 1st.

The national average price of diesel is predicted to rise from £1.32 to £1.40 by easter, with the average cost of petrol rising from £1.29 to £1.36 a litre.

In the meantime, next month tanker drivers will be balloted over proposed fuel strikes.

Many campaigns have started up calling for reductions in fuel costs.
