A foggy 6th of November  is a frequent occurrence following bonfire night. The MET Office says the weather conditions might be due to left over smoke from the festivities. Clear skies and mild temperatures can help mist or fog develop with the left over smoke.

Lincolnshire police have advised motorist that they should turn on their lights while driving, keep a safe distance from each other and to be conscious of their speed.
