The University of Lincoln Student’s Union hosted it’s first Raise And Give week for 2018. Running from Saturday 10th until Monday 19th November this year, there were multiple fundraising events for the following charities: Amnesty International UK, LEAP, Lincolshire Rape Crisis, Children in Need and Teenage Cancer Trust.

The variety of events ranged from the Student Union Ambassadors taking part in a Chilli Challenge & Sponge a SABB to a RAG Club Takeover at the nightclub, Home.

The RAG team and the Student’s Union met their fundraising goal of over £1,000 and are hoping to raise more across the year through their campaign.

RAG Officer at the university, Emma Blackburn said: “It was a really great week and were really impressed at the student engagement, particularly from Sports & Societies (GameDev, Drama, Rowing, Psychology, LUGS, Women’s Basketball to name a few!) We raised just under £3000 and can’t wait to put on more events in the new year!”
