Hundreds of Lincoln students have still not received their loans, three weeks into the new academic year.
Some universities, including Lincoln, have had to offer short-term loans to students to help them until the full amount comes through.
The Student Loans Company has been criticised by students. Many say that the SLC staff have been unhelpful in the way the staff handles inquires as well as keeping students uninformed about their loan situation.
Abigail Ward is a student at the University of Lincoln and still has not got her loan, and she describes the problems with the Student Loans Company and by not having a loan how it will affect her student life.
