What happened to the homeless under Wigford Way Bridge?

The council says not all those who congregated here were homeless or wanted help.

The City of Lincoln Council says fencing blocking off a homeless site under Wigford Way bridge was not put up without engaging with those affected.

Simon Walters, Director for Communities and Environment said:

“The safety of residents and visitors to Lincoln is always a priority and we have closed off this area following concerns raised with us by the police and public about anti-social activities taking place there.”

We went to the site to speak to locals.
