What to expect from Lincoln’s first Doughnut shop

Doughnotts have branched out and opened a new store in the centre of Lincoln.

The Nottingham based company first began in 2015 and now have stores in Leicester and Derby. The new Lincoln store will be different than their previous stores, welcoming passers-by to watch the staff decorate through the front window and allow customers to decorate their own in store.

Megan Scaddan, co-owner of Doughnotts, said: “We started making doughnuts and within two weeks we were delivering round to our family and friends, within a month we were at our first food and drink festival and in 6 months we had our first store.”

Doughnotts opened their fifth store ahead of their five year anniversary and are still looking forward hoping to add a further three stores before they turn 10.

Doughnotts is located in the Cornhill Quarter next to Lush and will house many new and exciting flavours for customers to try.
