This weekend marks the start of a busy events season for Lincoln Castle and it kicks off with Discover Lincolnshire.
It takes place in the castle grounds tomorrow and sunday, with archery and a falcon display being highlights.
Felicity Bound is the event organiser and explains that the Castle itself will be open for free:
“Our visitors attractions are open for free and it’s the start of our events season. We’re really pleased to be starting on a packed season.”
Swords and shining armour will also be exhibited, along with medieval dancing displays from re-enactors.
