Lincoln City could win the title today if they defeat Gateshead and Tranmere lose to Guiseley in the National League.

The Imps could seal promotion for the first time in six years after their relegation in 2011.

Imps manager Danny Cowley will be looking for an improved performance after scrapping past Torquay earlier in the week thanks to a Sam Habergham free-kick.

Volunteer officer at Lincoln City Alan Long is confident ahead of the game: “The sun is out and who knows… this time tomorrow we could have sore heads celebrating a famous victory.”
