Patients at a Lincoln GP surgery which is set to close are being given advice on where to go to receive healthcare.

The Glebe Practice, which treats over 8,000 patients at their surgeries in Skellingthorpe and Saxilby, is closing its Skellingthorpe branch.

Proposals were made in May to the Lincolnshire West CCG to close the branch over difficulty recruiting more doctors.

All services will continue at the Saxilby branch, which is situated five miles away.

Sarah-Jane Mills, Chief Operating Officer at Lincolnshire West CCG has said: “We will support the residents and parish council in the village during this time.”
