Lincoln Sausage Festival

The Lincoln sausage festival is back at Lincoln Castle on Saturday.

The annual celebration of sausages showcases the best local produce Lincolnshire has to offer.

Joel Murray, digital marketing manager for tourist organisation Visit Lincoln, said: “Food and agriculture are the biggest contributors Lincolnshire’s economy so a big part of the experience is trying the local food.

“Buying food locally means it hasn’t had to travel as far and we take for granted the great produce that we have around us.”

The festival features cooking demonstrations, sausage making demonstrations and live entertainment throughout the day.

Entry is £1 for adults and free to children with an accompanying adult.
