Lincoln has been dubbed the ‘legal high capital of Britain’ .
The label comes as figures show that the city is a ‘magnet for legal high users’.
Figures from the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) think-tank show that the number of incidents relating to legal highs trebled in England.
In Lincolnshire, the number of legal highs call outs rose from 347 in 2013 to 820 in 2014 – the largest in the survey.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Christian Guy, director of CSJ, said: “It is too easy for young people to walk into high street shops and buy these drugs – many of them as dangerous and addictive as Class A substances.”
