Over 4 Million people in the UK are affected by Type 2 Diabetes, with an estimated 1 Million not being aware that they have the disease.

Lincoln is one of the top 5 places in the UK which uses the most medication for diabetes, being linked closely to obesity.

Diabetes UK offers the funding for research into finding the cure for diabetes and offering support for those who have it.

 

Tony Driver was Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in his early 50’s

Diabetes UK offer support groups in a number of different areas to share advice and help people improve their lifestyle.
